Candle Care Guide

To get the best from your candle and keep it safe, please follow these simple steps.

Safety First

Always place your candle on a flat, steady and heat safe surface before lighting. Keep it well away from children, pets, draughts and anything flammable such as curtains or clothing. Never leave a burning candle unattended and never use it as a night light. Allow it to cool fully before moving it.

Before Lighting

Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn and keep it standing upright. A short wick can cause the wax to tunnel, while a long wick may lead to smoke, uneven burning or too much heat on the glass.

During Use

Let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the top on each use. This helps prevent tunnelling and gives you a longer, cleaner burn. For best results, burn for between 1 and 3 hours at a time. When about 10mm of wax remains, it’s time to stop burning and enjoy the gentle scent that lingers.
